Screening of the GALAS 2009 Video

The NLGF is extending an open invitation to the screening of the GALAS 2009 video in PantiBar on Tuesday 30th March at 7.30pm.
The GALAS were conceived to acknowledge the work of individuals and organisations around Ireland who work for the betterment of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Community in Ireland.
Recipients of a GALA in 2009 were:
Belong To - Community Organisation of the Year
LGBT Noise and Noel Walsh - Volunteer of the Year
Google - Employer of the Year
Senator Ivan Bacik - Gay Friendly Politician of the Year
Rory O'Neill - LGBT Business Person of the Year
Jackie McKeown - Journalist of the Year
Margaret Gill - Media Representation of the Year
Gaelick - Blogger of the Year
Bingham Cup 2008 - Event of the Year
Mick Quinlan - The Noel Walsh AIDS Activist of the Year
David Norris - The Molly Malone Gay Icon of the Year
Katherine Zappone and Ann Louise Gilligan - Person of the Year
This screening is a wider celebration of personal and community achievement in and around the LGBT community here in Ireland.
Details of the 2010 GALAS will be announced on the evening of the screening.
