Colm O' Gorman Discusses Civil Marriage on Drive Time.

Executive Director of Amnesty International, Colm O'Gorman returned to Drive Time on Friday evening (23 June) to discuss Ireland's stance on Same Sex Civil Marraige. He highlighted that despite evidence of majority support in polls from the Irish public for recognition of and legal protection for same sex couples' relationships, to date Irish legislation has not provided same sex couples with the right to marry.

His column is part of an ongoing series of radio pieces, marking the 60th Anniversary of the Universation Declaration of Human Rights. In this piece he discussed Article 16, being the Right to Marry.
