Are you engaged and planning your wedding or civil partnership?
Do you believe that civil partnerships are only a stepping stone on the way to true marriage equality for same sex couples?
Do you have to travel all the way to Canada, Spain or South Africa to get married, even though you would love to get married in your own country, surrounded by all your family and friends?
Would you like to help the campaign for equality for same sex couples, our families and our children?
Why not make a donation to Marriage Equality in lieu of favours? Not only will you be helping to financially support our work, but you will also be raising awareness of the inequality and discrimination that same-sex couples experience.
Believe it or not, many people in Ireland think that same-sex couples already have access to civil marriage, so this is an ideal opportunity to tell them that same-sex couples cannot get married - unlike all our heterosexual friends and family members, who have the choice.
Each card contains a small paragraph about Marriage Equality and what we do; this helps to raise awareness of the campaign with people who may not be familiar with our work.
The process is easy:
1. Have a look through the wedding favour card samples below.

3. Let us know your preferences:
- What design you would like
- How many favour cards you will need
- The date of your wedding or civil partnership
- Where we should send the cards (or if you prefer to collect them)
If you wish to change the message or personalise the cards, please let us know well in advance, and send us your message, so we can accommodate this.
Costs for the cards are:
Up to 100 cards - €150 donation
Up to 150 cards - €200 donation
Up to 200 cards - €250 donation
Up to 250 cards - €300 donation
Donations can be made to Marriage Equality by cheque, postal order or bank draft, or by credit card through our online system here.
