Marriage Equality is looking for couples and families for a new media campaign

4 Mar 2011

Later this year, Marriage Equality is launching a new campaign, called " Just Love ". We'll be featuring photos of couples and Orla Grainnefamilies, with the tagline " Just Love " on billboards, campaign materials and our website. We are building on the success of We are Family ' from last year. We want to show people that when you get right down to it, our struggle for marriage equality is just about love . It's about doing what's right, what's fair, and what's just... for people who love each other.

As a supporter of Marriage Equality, you are at the heart of what we do. You've supported us from our earliest days, and helped us to grow for the past 3 years. We've seen Civil Partnership legislation enacted, and just last week, we heard the story of one of the first couples to register their civil partnership. Change is happening, and it is happening because of our joint efforts and action.
But we still have a long way to go, and we've got a big job ahead of us. And we need your help .

GaryWe're looking for couples and families to be the faces of our "Just Love" campaign. We need real LGBT people, same sex couples and our families (with or without children) to take part in this project that will change hearts and minds all over Ireland, so we can tell the general public that we deserve equality.

We know that this is a big 'Ask'. We know that joining the existing faces of Marriage Equality is a big step outside most peoples' comfort zones. But in order to make marriage equality a reality in Ireland, we NEED real faces and stories, and for that, we need real people like you.

If you or someone you know is interested in taking part in this important project, please contact us on 01 873 4183 or info@marriagequality.ie by Friday, March 11th, 2011 .
