The Family Day Picnic

13 May 2012, 11:00 AM

Come join us at One Family's annual Family Day Picnic in Dublin's Iveagh Gardens on Sunday, May 13th from 11am-5pm, presented by EBS Building Society. We'll be there celebrating all families including LGBT families and we'd love it if you'd join us!

Family Day is about celebrating the diversity of families and family life in Ireland. As broadcaster Ian Dempsey said: "Families come in all shapes and sizes and Family Day is a day for everyone to celebrate their family, no matter what its make-up, and to think about what family really means."

One Family have planned a great day, full of entertainment, workshops, sports and games and arts & crafts - all free of charge!

And we'll have a section at the picnic too, with face painting, balloon animals, cupcakes and a draw for a fabulous prize from Itsy Bitsy Baby!

For more information visit www.familyday.ie.

E-mail us at info@marriagequality.ie to let us know if you are going to come along and join in the fun!

We'd encourage you to bring your own rug and picnic - and an umbrella just in case!

Draw or paint your family portrait and you could win €500* for your family in a prize draw!
